Pep Guardiola says he has loved watching Manchester City’s development during his period in charge of the Club.

The Catalan took over at City in the summer of 2016 and Saturday’s game against Crystal Palace will see him clock up 200 Premier League games as manager.

In his 199 matches in the competition so far, he has won 146, drawn 25 and lost just 28, scoring a remarkable 486 goals in the process.

He has overseen three title success in his five full seasons in charge, including a record 100 points in 2017-18.

It’s been a special period in City’s history, with Guardiola responsible for revolutionising our playing style, as well as delivering 10 major trophies.

He says he couldn’t be happier and believes the progress is clear evidence the work he and his backroom staff have done has been a success.

“I am incredibly happy,” he says. “We saw the team grow and grow. That is the best signal we are doing well.

“I try to adapt, adjust to the Premier League for specific things.

“After 200 games, I could not be more satisfied. It has been amazing, we lived the way we want to play and we did it. I will try to continue to do it.”
