Pep Guardiola says City have found our best rhythm of the season as we enter the business end of the campaign.

But the boss has reaffirmed the Club will be taking the crucial final furlong on a match-by-match basis.

After coming from a goal down to beat Southampton in Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final, City secured passage into the showpiece of the historic competition for a record-breaking fourth successive year.

It also means we’ll continue to fight on two fronts before the curtain falls on 2025/26 with Guardiola’s side embroiled in a fierce battle for the Premier League title with Arsenal.

And after already triumphing in this term’s Carabao Cup, the Catalan explained how his new-look side are showing signs of reaching the heights of previous teams during his trophy laden tenure at the Etihad Stadium so far.

“When I start the season, we try to win all the top titles knowing that it’s not possible,” he explained.

“After what happened last season, it was a question mark this season with how a lot of players will react to many things.

“At the end we found something, the players are in the best moment and now it’s game by game. The players know mentally and it’s not much to talk, we have to arrive and win. We’ll see, it’s nothing much more than that.

“The club has been defined by arriving in the final stages fighting for the titles. When it’s that, you make a good season. Except last season, always we are there. It’s a good sign. I’m so proud of that.

“I love to live titles but being there all the time and making a step against teams from League One or Two. That never happens, maybe one or two times.

“That defines the big clubs. Not all the clubs can win all the time but fighting against this Arsenal and Jurgen’s Liverpool.

“FA Cups four [finals] in a row and that is extraordinary. We have to enjoy it and everybody has to be so proud.”
