But at the same time we were winning, Arsenal were returning to the top of the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Newcastle.
With so many twists and turns still to come, Guardiola said he would not talk about winning all three trophies until the last game of the season if it was still a possibility.
“Far away,” he said when asked about the potential to win three trophies this season.
“Before the final and before the Aston Villa game, then I will tell you it’s a chance. Now it’s far away.
“Now it’s important we have three days off for the players and I tell them don’t think about football and rest.
“Now we start the season of five games plus the final of the FA Cup.
“Now I would say the Premier League is almost gone. We are back second. Then we will see how we arrive.”
