Pep Guardiola says Manchester City have room to improve after our start to the new Premier League season.

City produced an impressive display to beat Wolves in our opening game, but suffered a disappointing 5-2 defeat at the hands of Leicester City in our first home fixture.

Injury forced Guardiola to start the campaign without seven first team players and whilst he acknowledges his team can get better, he is not complaining about the situation he finds himself in.

“I know we are still a little bit away from our best for many reasons,” he said ahead of a trip to Elland Road to face Leeds.

“But it is what it is. We lost against Leicester, not because of lack of condition or because we miss players.

“When you concede three penalties it is difficult to win the game. If we start to complain, we will not make any step forward.”
