Pep Guardiola says he expects more twists and turns in the title race despite City’s superb 4-1 derby win over United which extended our lead at the top of the Premier League to six points.

A brace apiece from Kevin De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez sealed a dominant and deserved win over Ralf Rangnick’s side at a pulsating Etihad.

With just 10 games left as the Premier League season reaches its business end, it was another hugely significant result for the reigning champions.

But, reflecting on the win at his post-match press conference, the boss warned that with Liverpool still in hot pursuit - and having a game in hand - there would still be more drama to come in the race for the title.

“I have a feeling many things are going to happen. Tight games are going to happen,” Guardiola declared.

“We are six points ahead but it is a mistake because they (Liverpool) have one more game to play.

“If we are stable mentally and, hopefully, recover Nathan Ake as soon as possible and the other guys to come back, hopefully we will be there until the end.

“This is my dream.”
