Erling Haaland‘s fourth City hat-trick sealed an impressive win for the Blues and kept the pressure on league leaders Arsenal.
The boss had asked for more fire from his title chasers following Thursday night’s comeback win against Tottenham Hotspur.
And while he believes they have made the right steps since then, he told media on Sunday that he is reserving judgement on his squad’s reaction until more time has passed.
Reflecting on sessions in the run up to this fixture, he said: “They trained really, really well.
“We spoke a little bit what we have to do with the ball. Without the ball, we didn’t train anything because I would say we didn’t have energy.
“We talk a little bit these days about what we think we miss. It’s just one game. We will see in the future.
“Our football was really, really good. Today we improved. That was just today. We will see what happens in the next games.”
