Pep Guardiola praised the growth Ferran Torres has made throughout the 2020/21 season following City's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.

Torres scored the second of our two goals at Selhurst Park, as he doubled City’s lead just two minutes after Sergio Aguero opened the scoring with a second half strike.

It brought up the 700th strike of the Catalan’s City reign and Guardiola commended the Spaniard’s development throughout the campaign, and his ability to adapt to life in the Premier League.

“Ferran has scored a lot of goals,  but today was first game is I saw that he can handle the physicality of the Premier League,” the boss asserted.

“He was a little boy and now he is a man, when you have this aggression in the Premier League it is good.”
