Pep Guardiola has reiterated his unwavering belief that City will soon get our Premier League season back on track.

Saturday’s return to Premier League action following the November international break ended in a disappointing 2-0 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur.

The result left us in 13th place in the table after eight games – eight points behind the leaders with a normally prolific City having registered just 10 goals so far in the league.

However, in the wake of the result at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the boss insisted he was adamant that ‘we are going to get better.’

“It’s my responsibility to lift them and give them everything possible. Everything is going to solve,” Pep asserted.

“We have scored in two seasons more than 100 goals. Eighty or 90 per cent of the players are the same - especially upfront.

“We have lost Leroy (Sane) but Leroy didn’t play last season as he was injured and we scored 100 goals. Football is like this. Sometimes one season is completely different to another one.

“You have to find the moment - we’ll find a little bit the way to play. We are going to get better.”
