The boss has spoken to the media ahead of City's Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

City travel to the south coast to take on Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth on Saturday 2 November, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 (UK).

Bournemouth sit 11th in the league and after scoring a late equaliser at Aston Villa and a 2-0 win over Arsenal, they’re undoubtedly building momentum.

But City’s unbeaten start - seven wins and two draws - also signifies our intent as we fight for a historic fifth successive Premier League title.

We go into the tie on the back of a slender 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup, and the boss addresses the current shape of his squad following that clash in his press conference.

That includes an update on Savinho after he was brought off just after the hour with a knock, as well as a suggestion that some of the Blues’ Academy stars could be afforded an opportunity this weekend.

Finally, the manager also provided his thoughts on Ruben Amorim’s appointment as Manchester United’s new Head Coach, with City taking on the Portuguese’s current side, Sporting CP, in the Champions League on Tuesday.
