Pep Guardiola has sent a thank you to a group of fans planning to unfurl a banner written in Catalan at tomorrow’s home game against Fulham.
Reports suggest a collection of supporters have funded a new flag asking the boss to remain at the Club beyond his current contract, which is due to expire at the end of this season.
Guardiola was clearly flattered when asked at his pre-match press conference about the idea – but he joked the fans should send the bill for the banner to him!
“They have to bring me the bill for the banner!” smiled Pep.
“I don’t want [them] to spend money for that reason.
“What can I say? Thank you so much. I fell in love from the first day I was here.
“What is going to happen will happen”.
