Indeed, the 21-year-old’s pace and trickery has added further firepower to an already impressive front line at Pep Guardiola’s disposal.
And the boss has heaped praise on the youngster and his ability to adapt to his new surroundings so quickly.
“He can be, because he is so young,” Guardiola responded when asked if Doku had the potential to get even better.
“He listens. What we suggest for his game he gets it immediately.
“His impact has been really good.
“The minutes he played from the bench and the minutes he played was massive.”
