City will fly out to Germany in a rich vein of form, having chalked up seven wins in a row in all competitions after Saturday’s impressive 3-1 triumph at Watford.
And asked at his pre-match press conference if he was keen to see his side maintain momentum despite having already qualified for the last 16, the boss was unequivocal.
“Yeah of course all the guys who play tomorrow want to win,” Guardiola asserted.
“For respect in the competition and respect for Leipzig, and respect for Club Brugge and PSG.
“We want to improve. We can do things even better - we know exactly which ones.
“The more you do it, the more natural it is. It is a huge opportunity. It is the Champions League.”
