Pep Guardiola says he’s not considering Real Madrid’s form ahead of this week’s Champions League Round of 16 tie.

We’re in Spain for the first leg of the clash, kicking off at 20:00 (UK) on Wednesday.

And we arrive on an 11-game unbeaten run across all competitions, stretching back to the middle of January.

Meanwhile, Alvaro Arbeloa’s team have suffered two defeats in their last four outings.

However, Guardiola is keen to ensure his team are thinking only about how we can be at our best across the two legs.

“I can’t think about how Real Madrid is playing,” he said in Tuesday’s press conference.

“I don’t see them train and I don’t know their reality.

“I want to think it’s going to be the same us in the last games when we’ve done some good things and some not good things.

“They treat us very well and we’ll have a good dinner, then tomorrow we prepare the game and we will have to give a good performance with our people and fans.”
