City face Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday evening in the Carabao Cup fourth round, starting a run of four away games in a row across three competitions.
Kyle Walker, Jack Grealish, Jeremy Doku and Kevin De Bruyne weren’t involved in either of the past two matchday squads, with Oscar Bobb and 2024 Ballon d’Or winner Rodrigo both longer term absentees.
It’s a demanding schedule, with the boss explaining that he wouldn’t take risks on players following Saturday’s 1-0 win over Southampton.

Guardiola hinted that some players could be available, but insisted the key focus is on the squad coming through the clash unscathed.
He said: “[We have] a few players. We are going to try and do a good game to try to go through.
“Always it happens. Last season we were out against Newcastle but played really well.
“Perform well, this is what I want, no injuries please and go to the last week before the international break in November.
