Pep Guardiola wants Manchester City to play at full throttle against Watford and Norwich City, as he begins to prepare his players to face Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Guardiola admitted City are training with the Spanish giants in mind, and whilst there is nothing to play for in the final two Premier League games, he is demanding the best from his squad.

“To come back to who we are,” he replied when asked what he wants to see against Watford and Norwich.

“With and without the ball. We are good when we go full gas, when we are a team with no fear and it doesn’t matter what happens.

“That is what we have to take in these two games. Watford can beat us, Norwich can beat us, but beat us being who are.”

Guardiola also discussed how he will use the two week break between the end of the league campaign and the resumption of the Champions League.
