Both strikers arrived in the summer and have brought a new dynamic to City’s attack after a season without an out-and-out centre-forward.
They ended our 3-0 win at Wolves on the pitch together again, and Guardiola believes their styles can work in tandem.
“We have two prolific strikers in Erling and Julian, and this was the second time I’ve seen them together in the last minutes and I like it,” he said.
“They can bit a little more aggressive. I have to say, the previous season we scored a lot of goals – a lot – we always had the ability to score a lot of goals.
“But the quality we have in the box right now and it’s nice to have two players who have the ability to score goals and create chances.”
