After only joining us in January, the wonderful wideman scored the opening goal in our vital 2-0 semi-final first leg away success at Newcastle before impressing in the second leg 3-1 triumph at the Etihad as Pep Guardiola’s men enjoyed yet another ‘Que Sera, Sera’ moment.
Joining him for this fascinating interview is Peter Barnes, one of the stars of our Class of 1976 who beat Newcastle 2-1 in the final 50 years ago.
Lifelong City fan Barnes, just 18-years-old at the time, became the youngest player to score in a Wembley final on the Saturday before winning PFA Young Player of the Year on the Sunday in what he’s described as the ‘greatest weekend of my life’.
We see the pair come together to exchange stories about wing play, winning trophies and the upcoming final clash.
