It seems like only yesterday he was a teenage prodigy, but Phil Foden is already in the 300 club.

Our brilliant Stockport-born Academy graduate is now part of an exclusive group of City players to have represented our senior side on 300 occasions.

It’s fair to say his journey so far has been memorable too – with 97 goals and a whopping 17 major honours along the way.

That Foden’s career aligned with Pep Guardiola’s historic reign could hardly have been more perfect.

The midfielder’s ability on the ball, eye for a pass and character in important moments make him the perfect player for Guardiola’s possession-based system that has seen us dominate English football in recent years.

Now 24, it’s more than seven years since Foden made his City debut in November 2017.

The boyhood Blue has since grown into one of the best players in the world, a claim backed up by his incredible haul of personal awards in 2023/24.

His 27 goals across all competitions earned him the PFA Players’ Player of the Year, FWA Footballer of the Year, Premier League Player of the Season and Etihad Player of the Year gongs as we claimed a record fourth top-flight title in a row.

Now, he’s the 44th player to reach 300 games in a City shirt.
