Phil Foden’s passion and love for City is, of course, without question… ‘He’s one of our own,’ as the song goes.

The 20-year-old Stockport-born attacking midfield marvel continues to go from strength to strength.

Indeed, Foden’s magnificent form has been one of the key drivers in our incredible, record-breaking run this season which has seen us rack up 15 consecutive wins and remain in the hunt for all four major trophies.

A proud product of our famed Academy, Foden’s connection with the Club he loves extends back to his earliest days.

And if further proof were needed of Foden’s lifelong passion for City, our colleagues at CityTV have had trawl through the archives to find some incredible footage of the day a seven-year-old Phil was a proud Club mascot back in 2007.

The occasion was our 1-0 Premier League win over Sunderland on November 5th, 2007, with Phil walking out of the Etihad tunnel onto the pitch with the team, accompanying Martin Petrov!

Confirmation that Foden was a City match-winner – even at the earliest of ages!
