Foden is a two-time Premier League winner, has won the League Cup on three occasions and has also lifted the FA Cup, as well as winning the Community Shield in 2018 and 2019.

With 10 goals to his name already this season, Foden is enjoying the best individual spell of his senior career and his status was enhanced even further with a man of the match display against Liverpool recently.

It provided further evidence of the vast potential of a player who hopes to establish himself as one of the best players in the world and is aiming to have a medal collection to match.

“I want to be the one to win the most medals in my career,” he said.

“That’s my aim. I always want to be the best player in the world, that’s for everyone, but I want to try and win as many trophies as possible and be the most decorated player.

“I am going to give it my best shot and I know I am going to try my hardest.”
