Phil Foden has expressed his desire to win more trophies with Manchester City after winning the 2019/20 Carabao Cup final.

The playmaker was handed a start by manager Pep Guardiola and played a big part in helping the team to a 2-1 victory over Aston Villa at Wembley.

The 19-year-old set up City’s opener, cleverly nodding the ball down to Sergio Aguero, who fired into the net.

He was then central to our best attacking moments, and he says wants the feeling of winning silverware for many years to come.

“It doesn’t get much better than that to be honest,” he said. “I just couldn’t wait to play on the special occasion and I’m over the moon to help the team and get the result.

“It’s unbelievable and we want to keep going and win it again. I’ve always dreamed of playing on this stage and it didn’t go too bad, which I’m really happy about.

“The feeling of winning a trophy never goes away.”
