The attacker had the most shots in the game (6), the most touches inside the Chelsea box (9) and was named as the Player of the Match after a standout display at the Etihad Stadium that had everything but a goal.

Goals from Riyad Mahrez and Julian Alvarez secured the win, but Phillips was in awe of his the Grealish display. He said:

“Jack [Grealish] has trained hard every single day.

“He’s not had the luck with scoring and assists, but I think he brings a lot more to the team than just that.

“When you see him play and he plays like that, it’s a joy to watch.”
