James Trafford has hailed Marc Guéhi after the defender's first goal for the Club in our 2-0 FA Cup fourth round victory over Salford City.

An Alfie Dorrington own goal gave City an early lead before substitute Guéhi made sure of our passage into the fifth round with a neat finish after 81 minutes.

Trafford himself was required to be at his best, denying the visitors twice with smart saves either side of half-time.

WHEN IS THE FA CUP FIFTH ROUND DRAW?

When quizzed about Guéhi in his interview with City Studios after the game, Trafford said: ”Obviously, There’s no doubt about his ability, about how good he is.

“He’s fit straight in.

“We’re a great group and we’ve got better since Marc’s come in.”

Trafford also praised the League Two side’s effort and spoke about his love for the FA Cup.
