The Premier League’s top two lock horns at Anfield in Sunday’s 16:30pm (UK) kick-off, as we look to get back to winning ways following a slender Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in midweek.
Despite that setback, City can take plenty of positives from our recent Premier League record, which has seen us keep five successive clean sheets and boast the best defence in the top flight so far.
Our most recent domestic clash saw us edge out Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge, and we’ll need to be at our best once again to emulate that result when we do battle with Jurgen Klopp’s men.
The players were put through their paces ahead of Sunday’s showdown with Liverpool by taking part in a number of mini rondos to test as well as drills designed to test our endurance and agility at a sunny CFA.
