As part of City’s visit to India, the Premier League trophy visited Bangalore, during an official match screening event for City’s thrilling clash against Liverpool.
Around 600 fans from across the country were in attendance, including representatives from the Bengalaru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Goa Pune, Mumbai, Shillong and Kerala Official Supporters Club branches.
There was also a special guest as former City star Shaun Wright-Phillips took part in a Q&A, while there was also a performance from a football freestyler, plus a caricature artist, our mascot Moonchester and prize giveaways.
Varun, the Chair of the Bengalaru branch, said: “The Trophy Tour experience was unbelievable.
“Right from getting to meet and interact with a Man City legend Shaun Wright-Phillips to seeing so many City fans come together from across India made the entire event amazing.
“Huge thanks to the entire team who made this event happen and making it one of the most memorable events for us City fans. We look forward to many more such events in the future.”
