Raheem Sterling says City are targeting two more trophies in the remaining weeks of the season.

The Carabao Cup was secured against Aston Villa a week last Sunday and the England winger says there is a hunger to add further silverware despite the Premier League now seeming to be out of reach.

“Winning a trophy is always special and we won’t be picking and choosing which ones we try to win – we want to win them all,” said Sterling, who has scored 20 goals this season.

“It’s been disappointing (to be so far behind Liverpool) because the Premier League is the bread and butter and the one that everyone wants to win, but fair play to Liverpool, they’ve been very consistent while a lot of other teams maybe haven’t.

“We have the FA Cup and Champions League still to aim for as well as finishing as high in the Premier League as we can. We are focused and hungry on trying to win those to cup and make it a successful end to the season.

“It’s not been a bad season already – we have won the Carabao Cup already, the Community Shield and are going well in two other competitions as well as second in the table. Not many teams have managed to win the Carabao Cup three times in a row.”
