Speaking on Matchday Live, the former City defender said he expects Pep Guardiola‘s team to take the game to the Spanish champions Real Madrid in tonight’s semi-final second leg.
City take a 4-3 lead into the match following a thrilling first leg in Manchester.
He said: “I’m confident that we can win this game as well as go through in the tie. Obviously we don’t have to win but I think we do anyway.”
Paul Dickov echoed Lescott’s thoughts, saying: “I’m so excited because I genuinely think we can go to the Bernabeu and beat them.”
