To celebrate the upcoming City in the Community Match Day activities, taking place at the Club’s West Ham fixture on Wednesday, two Manchester City players took part in a fun quiz!

Riyad Mahrez and Rico Lewis sat down with former Degree Student and now Early Years staff member, Ollie, as they took part in a ‘higher or lower game’, all relating to City in the Community (CITC) statistics!

Find out who came out on top by watching the video above.

The two City players were quizzed ahead of our latest Premier League game against West Ham, at the Etihad on May 3, where the Club’s official charity, will be launching an exciting new fundraising initiative, to empower healthier lives through football.

At the game, fans will be able to access bonus community content across the matchday programme, City Square events and during half-time.

Those watching from home will see increased community content across City Studio’s Matchday Live Show.

The matchday will also help to raise funds for the charity’s new initiative – being revealed on Wednesday - through the donation of all matchday programme profits, a hospitality raffle and donation points within the Manchester City store.

The Manchester City squad will also be donating their match worn shirts from the game, which will later be signed and auctioned off online for fans to purchase.

City in the Community participants are also being given once-in-a-life time opportunities, including mascot spaces, taking part in a team photo on the pitch before kick-off and announcing the players off the bus on the blue carpet.

City in the Community empowers healthier lives with city youth through football.
