A youthful City side began our second defence of the League Cup trophy at Deepdale, as Pep Guardiola‘s men sailed to a 3-0 triumph.
A home tie against Southampton followed and the Champions bagged three again, repeating the feat in the Quarter-Final as we met last season’s opponents Oxford United once again.
The triumph over the Us set up a mouth-watering two-legged Manchester Derby and the first leg proved an unforgettable night for City, as once again, we netted three goals!
The return leg proved less cheerful, but our performance at Old Trafford ensured our place in our third successive Carabao Cup Final...
