With Rodri currently sidelined through a knee injury sustained last September, the Spaniard took a rare opportunity to see the Super Bowl in person earlier this month.

The 28-year-old has been working hard with club staff to return as strong as possible and has even travelled to matches with the squad over recent weeks.

However, our Ballon d’Or winner jetted off to New Orleans ahead of the annual showpiece event recently to take in one of the world’s greatest events.

While in New Orleans, he trained hard at the facility of local NBA side the Pelicans alongside our Head of Rehabilitation Tom O’Malley and gave us an update on his current condition.

With the hard work done, he took in the NFL exhibition ahead of kick-off and met some of the city’s Official Supporters Club branch to discuss the best of what New Orleans has to offer.

He also stopped by at Apple Music for a live radio appearance before featuring on Sky’s coverage of the game itself!

In Caesars Superdome, he wore special glasses that helped capture the event from his perspective!
