Ruben Dias will today rack up his 200th Manchester City appearance.

Since his September 2020 arrival, the Portuguese defender has been one of the Premier League’s outstanding operators and a key reason behind our four successive titles.

In fact, Dias is yet to finish anywhere other than top of the table in our league.

He has also been a key figure across triumphs in the League Cup, FA Cup, Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup and Community Shield.

Although not Club captain, the 27-year-old is a natural leader for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Whether it’s his commanding presence or relentless standards, he’s a player that others often look to for inspiration and support.

His impact was felt instantly in 2020/21 when he went on to claim the FWA Footballer of the Year, Etihad Player of the Year, Premier League Player of the Season and the UEFA Champions League Defender of the Season in his first season at City.

More than four years later, he remains as desperate as ever to keep the ball out of our net.
