Ruben Dias is confident that City will rise to the occasion in Saturday’s UEFA Champions League final.

Pep Guardiola’s men face Inter at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium, Istanbul, as we set our sights on a maiden triumph in Europe’s elite competition.

The Portuguese defender believes City have already demonstrated throughout the season that we can handle the pressure that encounters of this size bring.

And Dias has called for his team-mates to repeat the trick one final time in our pursuit of a historic Treble.

He said: “I have been saying for a long time - not just in these final moments in which everything gets decided but since a long time - when we got to February, March when the decisions come up, it’s the sweet spot.

“You see the character of the team when you reach these stages. You can see how much the team wants to move forward or if you start hiding.

“I guess since that moment we have seen our team show up every time and tomorrow will be no different.

“It’s a time for all of us to step up to the occasion. All of us want it and we will be there.”
