Ruben Dias believes City won’t truly appreciate the enormity of winning four straight Premier League titles until years to come.

Pep Guardiola’s team became the first men’s team to complete the historic achievement following a euphoric 3-1 win over West Ham on the final day of the 2023/24 league season.

Following the Portugal international’s arrival at the Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2020, he’s won the Premier League in all four seasons of his City tenure so far.

And Dias says the triumphs gets sweeter, year on year.

“It just gets better every time and it obviously means a lot to us,” he declared.

“We’re part of the history of the Premier League now more than ever. We’re all very happy.

“I don’t think we will understand how big it will be. The more years pass the more we will realise what we’ve done.

“Now it’s to enjoy the moment. Obviously next season we’ll be here again. We’ve got to keep on dreaming always.

“We’re very, very happy of what we’ve achieved today. For us it’s enough drive to look at every beginning of the season, see the team we have and see all the possibilities.

“That’s a big enough drive for all of us. Obviously, the extra of having the opportunity of doing it for the fourth time in a row. It’s a big extra.

“There’s no trophy I’d rather had won this season and it obviously means a lot to us.”
