Ruben Dias has spoken of his disappointment at losing to Tottenham – and the defender has challenged the squad to make improvements in the coming weeks.

City controlled the game for long periods, particularly in the first half, but we once again lacked a cutting edge in the final third.

Afterwards, Dias told CityTV he was unhappy with the result.

“Not happy at all,” he said. “We wanted to win this game so badly. It ended up not going the way we wanted. We need to keep working, keep improving and focus on not conceding and scoring.

“At the end, controlling the game is being on top of it and winning. We had a lot of possession. We got in some dangerous zones, but then sometimes we missed the final touch. We have got to work on that.”
