The 21-year-old has committed his future to the Blues by signing a contract extension which will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2031.
Since signing for Pep Guardiola’s side in the summer of 2024, he’s shown his sparkling potential across 53 appearances in all competitions – scoring four goals and registering 13 assists.
Savinho is loving his first taste of English football, and has paid tribute to his team-mates for aiding his journey, particularly Haaland and Bernardo.

“Well, of course I like everyone here in the squad,” he said.
“But two players I admire are Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland. With Haaland it’s about the goals. I think: ‘how can he score so many goals with such ease?’
“And Bernardo for his history, for everything he has already done here at the Club. He helps me a lot and pushes me too.
“Well, not pushes, but he tries to help me improve my goals — how to shoot, how to get into the box. And for his history here at City.
“Since I arrived, he’s always helped and supported me. I’m really happy.”
