Erling Haaland (third) v Fulham

We started September with a flurry of goals which included Erling Haaland’s first hat-trick of the 2023/24 season. He scored his third against Fulham with ease after Sergio Gomez wriggled free of the opposition’s defence with some fantastic footwork.

Jeremy Doku v West Ham United

A fabulous solo goal for Jeremy Doku to score his first Premier League goal since joining City in the summer. His electrifying, quick feet were no match for West Ham who were unable to stop the Belgium international from driving into the box before slotting the ball into the bottom right corner.

Bernardo Silva v West Ham United

An acrobatic goal by Bernardo to give City the lead at the London Stadium. A wonderfully weighted lobbed ball by Julian Alvarez allowed Bernardo to nudge the ball past goal keeper Alphonse Areola with a high kick.

Phil Foden v Nottingham Forest

Guardiola’s squad proving once again how clinical we are in front of goal from kick-off. It took Phil Foden just seven minutes to give City the lead against Nottingham Forest. His first-time finish was beautifully created by build-up play from Rodrigo and Kyle Walker.

Lauren Hemp v West Ham

Winger turned striker Lauren Hemp scored City’s first goal of the WSL campaign. Positioned on the edge of the box, the England international curled the ball precisely into the top left corner with ease.

Jill Roord v West Ham

On her debut for the Club, Jill Roord extended City’s lead against Rehanne Skinner’s side. A beautiful turn opened up the space between two West Ham players which allowed Roord to position herself onto her left foot before slotting the ball into the bottom corner.

Julian Alvarez v Wolverhampton Wanderers

For the final goal of the shortlist, our final goal of September by Julian Alvarez. His free-kick left City fans mesmerised by the curling set piece that was placed perfectly into the top left corner and out of reach for Jose Sa.
