The pair are two of City’s newest recruits, with Gomez arriving from Borussia Dortmund in pre-season and Perrone moving to the Etihad Stadium in January.
The Spanish left-back has made 16 appearances under Pep Guardiola in all competitions, while the Argentine midfielder has featured twice since switching from Velez Sarsfield.
After a quick Padel tutorial at the CFA with expert Crespo, where the pair were put through their paces understanding the basics, they were thrown into the deep end with a doubles match.
The rules are straightforward, the scoring system is the same as tennis, play begins with an underarm serve, but there are walls at each end of the court that players are allowed to play a ball off.
And following their stint as a team on the court, the duo then do battle in a one versus one match before undertaking a quiz on the sport.
