As part of our Treble Trophy Tour visit to our community football project in Bandung, Indonesia, Club legend Shaun Wright-Phillips received a special lesson in the local language: Sundanese.

Sitting down with Young Leaders and participants from the project, Shaun put his language skills to the test, picking up some useful phrases during a visit to the Rumah Cemara charity centre.

He also had some cockney rhyming slang for the locals too…

During the day, Shaun led a Q&A and learnt more about the work of the young leaders in Bandung, who are using the power of football to uplift the health of city youth.

Following the visit to the project centre, the City legend also attended a community football session led by the young leaders.

Reflecting on the day, Young Leader Reival said: “I want to say thank you to Shaun and Manchester City for coming here to join us and meet the children from our community. It was a happy and amazing day for us!”
