Riyad Mahrez says City’s focus doesn’t change and the players treat every game the same.
The Algerian, who was voted man-of-the-match says the FA Cup is a trophy the Blues are desperate to retain.
“It feels good, it’s never easy at this stage,” said Mahrez.
“We knew it was going to be tough because we were playing away and the pitch wasn’t great.
“We also knew they were going to sit back and try to counter-attack but at the end, we won and we are happy.
“We have had some big games lately but our target was to win all the games and that’s what we have done and now we are in the quarter-final.
“We were focused in the same way we were at the Bernabeu and the Carabao Cup final and we want to win every game we play.
“Now we have United next and we are looking forward to it – it will be difficult but it is the derby and it is so special but our target is to play well and win.
“On a personal note, I’m feeling good and I know my team-mates better and I feel very settled and happy.”
