It was a disappointing afternoon as Harry Kane’s first-half strike separated the two sides.
City went close to an equaliser when Riyad Mahrez hit the underside of the crossbar just before half-time.
Both sides went close to scoring in the second half while Cristian Romero was sent off in the 87th minute for a second bookable offence.
But Tottenham held on for the three points as we tried to snatch a late equaliser.
