John Stones once again impressed, and Pep Guardiola said afterwards we need to build momentum one game at a time.
“I don’t know how our season will go - we go game by game. It’s the only thing we can do,” said the City manager.
“Now we go to London to play Arsenal in the Carabao Cup, then we play Newcastle, Everton and Chelsea at Christmas.
“We can’t think too much (ahead).”
