Scott Carson and Stefan Ortega are the latest City stars to tackle one of our tier lists...

This time round, the goalkeeping duo were tasked with rating some of the best saves they have witnessed from City keepers down the years.

They kick off with an incredible double save from Ederson against West Ham August 2019 first to deny Javier Hernandez and then an acrobatic dive to keep out Manuel Lanzini’s goal-bound follow up.

Next up is a spectacular 60-yard sprint back from Joe Hart before audaciously keeping out Wayne Rooney’s goal bound lob during an Etihad Manchester derby.

The pair also run the rule over a fine David James diving stop to prevent a goal from Aston Villa’s Lee Hendrie as well as discussing City legend Bert Trautmann’s iconic bravery in making a save in the 1956 FA Cup final with Birmingham which saw the German break his neck – yet amazingly carry on playing.

They also weigh up fine efforts from each other with a Scott effort to keep out Sporting Lisbon and Stefan’s diving save to deny Arsenal’s Leandro Trossard both up for consideration.

Two Wembley wonder saves are also in the list - Claudio Bravo’s effort in the 2018 Carabao Cup final against Arsenal to deny Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Willy Caballero’s iconic penalty shoot out block to keep out Liverpool’s Adam Lallana in the 2016 Capital One Cup final.

But where do they all rank in the keepers’ rankings?
