The England international has signed a new deal at the Etihad Stadium which will see him remain in Manchester until 2026.
He arrived at the Club in the summer of 2017 and has since made an immense contribution to Pep Guardiola’s side’s success throughout the past six years.
In total, he has made 260 appearances in sky blue and has won a phenomenal 15 trophies during that time – including the Treble in 2022/23.
From his first goal, a strike against Newcastle in 2018, to lifting the iconic UEFA Champions League, Walker has often been at the centre of magical moments for City which has also earned him individual recognition.
As the curtain fell on the 2017/18 season, the defender was named in the PFA Team of the Year after playing a vital role in Guardiola’s centurions who became the first side to reach 100 Premier League points in a term.
By signing this new contract, Walker is set to enter his seventh and eighth seasons at the Club, and everyone at Manchester City is delighted with the news.
