Stones: Pep and backroom team huge in committing my future

Ederson and Gabriel Jesus both returned from their summer breaks following their involvement in Brazil’s Copa America campaign, whilst John Stones, Raheem Sterling and Kyle Walker also trained for the first time since their participation in EURO 2020.

There were plenty of smiles on display as the players rejoined the group ahead of our first game of the season against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, with new signing Jack Grealish able to link up with his England colleagues for the first team since his arrival.

And the attacking midfielder capped the session with a well taken goal, driving the ball past Zack Steffen into the far corner off his left foot.
