Goals from Oscar Bobb, Maximo Perrone and Erling Haaland weren’t enough to prevent City from being edged out in an entertaining clash against Celtic at the Kenan Memorial Stadium.
The Scottish champions took a two-goal lead in at the break with a Nicolas Kuhn brace and Kyogo Furuhashi effort cancelling out Oscar Bobb’s close-range finish.
But City rallied after the break and drew level around the hour mark through Perrone’s curling effort and a powerful Haaland header.
