UFC's Alex Volkanovski swapped the octagon for a football pitch when his refereeing skills were put to the test during an International School's Programme match.
During the Australian’s time in Manchester to promote UFC 304 which took place at the Co-Op Live Arena last month, Volkanovski popped into the CFA to pick up a whistle and referee a game of football.
The match was part of the Club’s International School’s Programme and all the boys who took part had great fun putting Alex’s refereeing skills to the test, which included the dishing out of some cards too!
But how did Volkanovski fair at the centre of the pitch? Spoiler, there were a fair few bookings!
