Reis joined the Blues today on a four-and-a-half year contract from Brazilian side, Palmeiras.
And, when asked about his qualities, the 19-year-old revealed both technical and mental aspects to his game.
“I’m a very eager athlete, with a big will to win,” he told us.
“So you can all be sure I will leave and give everything on the pitch.
“I’ve got a lot of desire and determination and I’m a player who loves a challenge, good headers and passes.”
City, under Pep Guardiola, have drawn a lot of admirers for their style of play which accentuates ownership and control of the football.
It’s an approach which Reis believes will suit his own game.
“I believe it will match well,” he added.
“City likes to play with a lot of possession, I also like to play that way.
“City has shown that confidence in me when they’ve decided to sign me and that gives me a lot of confidence.”
