Kyle Walker is looking for a strong response from the City squad after the 1-1 Premier League draw with Nottingham Forest.

Bernardo Silva opened the scoring before the interval, before Chris Wood snatched a draw for the hosts shortly before full-time.

Erling Haaland and Ilkay Gundogan both struck the crossbar in the second-half before the leveller, meaning we sit two points behind leaders Arsenal in the table.

Walker was disappointed to drop two points at the City Ground but made it clear that City will fight until the end of the campaign.

“We know that is not acceptable. To come here and pick up a draw after the hard work we did on Wednesday is not ideal.

“I’d like to say from me and the lads, we know, we apologise and we have to do better. Each and every one of us, we want to make history.

“Sometimes, these are the games you need to pick up the three points and move on. What’s done is done here now.

“Hopefully that is the last blip in the season. I think there will be a few more twists and turns, not just for us but for other teams around us.
