Our incredible 4-3 win away at Spurs in February 2004 from 3-0 down still stands proud as one of the greatest turnarounds in FA Cup history.
And that memorable occasion at White Hart Lane also featured several fascinating sub-plots – not least a no-holds barred battle for midfield supremacy between Joey Barton and Michael Brown!
Former City favourite Brown – now a regular pundit and co-commentator for us on CITY+ - and ex-England international Barton were both famed for their tigerish and full-blooded approach – and nowhere more so than that famous night in North London.

With Brown operating for Spurs, the pair’s pulsating battle featured several full-blooded challenges before Barton was sent off at half-time after picking up a second yellow card for dissent.
Given Barton’s dismissal reduced City to 10-men with Spurs 3-0 to the good, that should have been that.
Instead, it was the precursor to an astonishing second half City comeback, crowned by Jon Macken’s incredible 90th winner.
And in the latest documentary from City Studios, we hear from Brown, Macken and fellow City scorer Shaun Wright-Phillips as well as journalists and fans who all lift the lid on all the on-field drama - and the Brown vs Barton sub-plot!
