The Club’s charity, City in the Community (CITC), has released a new video in its participant story-telling series, ‘We Are City in the Community’.

Each month CITC is spotlighting its work and programmes through the voices and stories of its participants across Manchester.

The ninth video sees Finley’s Mum, Caitlin, discuss her son’s development through the programme, and how she feels the sessions are good for her family to all attend together.

Caitlin, said: “Before Finley attended the sessions, he didn’t really speak to other children he was quite shy, but he’s done really well in the sense of speaking to new people and involving himself in all of the activities.”

CITC’s City Play Together programme supports two- to five-year-olds across Greater Manchester, with the aim to help get families and their children to take part in physical activity together.

Current sessions are being delivered in Youth Zones and SureStart Centres across Manchester. To find out what City Play Together sessions are going on throughout the week see the list below:
